    POSITION SUMMARY: Generate leads, develop new business and close sales of employee benefits including life, medical, vision, dental, section 125 and STD

    Develop rapport and credibility with potential clients and industry consultants to enhance revenue growth opportunities

    Responsibilities

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Generate leads, develop new business and close sales of employee benefits including life, medical, vision, dental, section 125 and STD

    Develop rapport and credibility with potential clients and industry consultants to enhance revenue growth opportunities

    • Develop rapport and credibility with potential clients and industry consultants to enhance revenue growth opportunities.
    • Create and respond to potential client’s Request for Proposals along with development of direct service proposals.
    • Participate in client implementation meetings and prepare new client implementation service guidelines.
    • Develop and facilitate sales presentations.
    • Maintain consistent contact with various levels of the client.
    • Work closely with other internal departments to ensure a coordinated delivery of services to the client.
    • Document and maintain sales/RFP log.

    Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

     

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

        Must have minimum of ten (10) years of experience selling Employee Benefits

        Bachelor’s degree in related field (strongly preferred) or equivalent combination of education        and experience.  HS diploma or GED required

         Required current Life and Health Licenses for each state in which leads are developed

     

    • [History of solution selling business to business with proven sales record.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, vendors and employees of the organization.
    • Successfully forge strong relationships.
    • History of establishing and maintaining a high level of customer trust and confidence.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
    • High level of customer service skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
