  • Overview

    POSITION SUMMARY:  

    Under direct supervision, will perform a variety of clerical duties that assist in day-to-day operations of the bill review department.

     

    This position requires physical presence in the office in order to perform the essential job functions; therefore consistently being on time at work in the office in a timely manner, is inherently required of this position.

    Responsibilities

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform clerical (non-technical) duties to assist the technical staff in bill review, answering/directing telephone inquiries
    • Perform general office duties such as data entry, scanning documents, filing, answering/directing telephone inquiries, and other clerical duties as assigned
    • Has the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member

    Qualifications

    Education/Training:

    • High School diploma/GE, 2-3 years of general office experience, with at least one year in a claims industry environment

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to communicate with clients and branch personnel in a respectful and timely manner.
    • Ability to multi-task.
